Machine Equipment Selection in Crushing and Screening Plant Design

The equipment cost of crushing and screening plants in aggregate production constitutes approximately 50% of the total cost. For this reason, it is of great importance to choose the right equipment and to make the plant design properly.

The following details should be taken into consideration while selecting machinery and equipment in the design of the plant;

– According to the type, hardness, density, fragility, chemical content, moisture, clay content, pollution bypass rate, feed grain size, plant capacity, product dimensions, shape (cubic-flat) and gradations of the material to be crushed

After the machine and equipment selection is made, on-site exploration is made at the site where the plant will be established and after the exploration, the most appropriate plant layout plan is drawn and the appropriate belt conveyor heights and slope, gutter pouring heights etc. are determined.
