Crushing and Screening Plant Design In crushing and screening plants, the hardness of the stone and the layer thickness are very important. It is possible to increase the crusher clearance in rigid and brittle stones. The thin and medium-layered nature of the raw material negatively affects the flatness index. In order to have efficient production in crushing and screening plants, the raw material to be processed must be suitable for the facility. In other words, drilling and blasting should be done in accordance with the primary crusher opening. During the operation of the crushing and screening plant, the dust generated from transportation and loading damages the machine equipment, control automation systems and the environment. In order to minimize damages, dust reduction systems should be installed, electronic systems should be positioned closed and away from dust. In order for the facility to be of high quality and efficiency, it should be designed by paying attention to the project, the determination of the appropriate equipment, the geological and structural properties of the raw material, the determination of the operating conditions, and the investment cost, and it should be assembled by experts. The raw material, which is brought to the facility by drilling and blasting or direct excavators from the mines, is reduced in size in accordance with the primary (primary crusher), secondary (secondary) or tertiary (tertiary) crushing process. After the material is crushed, separation is provided with a sieve, and the capacity of the machine that will perform the next crushing process is smaller, thus more economical machine use is realized. In crushing and screening plants, the selection of crusher machine screen and conveyor should be made by considering the plant and chute design, conveyor height and slope, sieve and crusher capacity, feeder vibration, engine speeds, etc., as well as the geological structure and chemical properties of the stone.
